To SXB: Re: VISX. I may have given the wrong impression on my last post. I am a huge fan of VISX as my wife had the LASIK procedure with their Excimer laser about 15 months ago. It is the best on the market and as long as it stays the best it will be able to get the royalty. My main concern is that if someone does come down the pike not even better but as good as VISX's laser, all those doctors who are grumbling about the royalty will switch. That is the unknown for me. Also I am sorry to report that I was unaware of the FTC case being resolved. I am so busy in my practice that I am behind in my journals. I will send you info on newer lasers as I hear about them. If I get the journals caught up. Thanks for the reply
