Bosco --

I went to nationalpost.com and did a couple of searches. The most recent article on Nortel was about the Telstra Corp. deal on July 2nd. I even tried keying in "MVA" but nothing kicked back.

Are you sure you were on an airplane when you took that flight on Saturday? <vbg> You can be forgiven given the excitement and the titilating heights achieved by our favourite company.

Cheers!

Chris

I read the MVA article too. The FP did not really define the metric very well.

From what I can gather the MVA had to do with increased company worth rather than increased equity value (or stock value).

I can't remember those companies with the best MVA but I do recall that those in the top 10 did not necessarily have equivalent increases in stock price, so I took the info with a grain of salt.

What we can glean from this however, is that NT has been grossly undervalued compared to its counterparts. e.g. LU, CSCO

all the best,
Martin
