Hi Mark!

Had a very fulfilling 4th! Hope your's was terrific!

Ok...to clarify comments concerning Clarent. <g> I do realize that this is a good sign for Digitcom. If a start up company can fly like Clarent did, then a company such as Digitcom with the miles and years it already has under it's belt should be a no brainer. It's almost enough to make a person be a bit excited at the prospects.

My point was simply that I am ready to become a greater part of that niche...NOW! <g> Yep, ticked me a bit, and I had a bit of the old "pooch my lip out, stop my foot, hands on hips, it just doesn't seem fair" thang going on. Also, I just found it fascinating that (as this article stated) it just sorta came out of no where. I was actually surprised that no one else had even noticed it; (or at least mentioned it).

Oh, and for those who think I bought CLRN...Nope, my telephony investing dollars are tied up in another little company. <g>

Lastly...

A patient investor environment is just what Clarent
needs while it gets a firmer handle on cash. At the end
of 1999's first quarter, the company posted an
accumulated deficit of $13.6 million.
But management
appears to be addressing certain cost containment
issues. Net income losses declined slightly last year to
$5.4 million, or a loss of $1.00 per share, from $5.8
million, or a loss of $1.65 per share in the prior year.

THIS is a $38 dollar stock??? Come on Jimmy...let's get those financials in. I'm sure if we can show "only" a .50 loss per share, we will be a $76 stock! <g> Ok, so that was sarcasm, but still...

Thinking time is complete...NEXT!

E!
