I hold both lawyers and politicians in the same regard.

I would trust neither group once it has its money.

And yes, the street would recognize this issue. They may underwrite the issue anyway hoping to sell to some other unsuspecting sucker.

I would expect significant underwriting fees and significant discounts from long term rates in order to float these issues.
