I know everyone thought Amazon was wildly profitable a year ago.. I would tell my friends, who were in the web industry, and they would all tell me I was full of crap, that they had "read dozens of places" that AMZN was making cash hand over foot. But now the point has been made so often that Amazon has never earned a dime, that I dont believe anyone still is living under the illusion that they are profitable.. Unless they're also living under a rock.
