I really like the thin phone. I used to be on SprintPCS in southern california (with a Sony/QPE phone), but then I had the great fortune of leaving that phone on a plane. I always thought that my previous phone had too much battery (I only need about 16 hours worth, because I recharge it every night). So the thin phone was made for me (less weight, less battery life). I could only get the phone via Airtouch out here (no sprintpcs yet) so I switched carriers and got the text messaging service. Now, I'm using the text messaging service more than I could have imagined. I've got a computer set up to forward to my thinphone notice of important e-mails and closing stock quotes.
