Slate, selling thru Wave offers no marketing advantage and Doom sure as hell won't cost $50 if WAVX takes a 44% cut. In terms of being a direct seller, WAVE offers little benefits for game makers. People buying games tend to like to have hard copies to share with friends and hard copy manuals are a nice touch too. "Joe Schmoe is tired of giving his Visa number away because sites that have recurring monthly billing end up biting Joe Schmoe right in his Dirk Dingle" Sure, and Visa weary Joe Schmoe will have no problems funding an account from an unknown company such as WAVX.
