It's been about as wet a nine months or so as I can remember in
an aggregate 40 years around here. (Puget Sound and environs)
It's set records for rainfall in what's usually a pretty damp
corner of the world. Beautiful as it gets here today, however.

Yep. I'm a native Pacific N'Westener and this summer is one for the record books. Wet doesn't begin to describe it. I'm not complaining though. You live here long enough, you know why you're here.
