Gee that was good.

I wonder how old feminism is? I haven't studied it. Although I did read quite a bit about the suffragettes. But we aren't the only women to have thought about this. What did the women in Greece and Rome think? I don't believe I've read much pertaining to those women. But there must have been brilliant women then who chafed under the male dominated society (aside from the crafty empresses we read about in all those male authored histories). All those early great thinkers were born of women, and many were married to women.

Anyone read any good books on really old feminist thinkers? I've read some Sappho- but I'm not even sure she fits this category. But that's all I could come up with.

So much for giving me the last word!

If I were as sexist as you accuse me of being, I would say "just like a woman." But I'm not, so I don't.

If I were as sexist as you accuse me of being, I would also say "you're so beautiful when you're angry." But I'm not, so I don't.

Your resort to namecalling is, of course, a reflection of your unwillingness to discuss, and your resort to absurd falsehoods simply undermines any credibility your position might have had.

As to the beginnings of feminism, certainly the Womens Rights movement began long before that; being raised as a Quaker I was raised on Elizabeth Fry, the suffragette movement, the fight for the Equal Rights Amendment, and the like. But IMO the term feminism as we use it today arose basically in the 60s and 70s with Greer, with Bella Abzug's political campaigns (I was a volunteer for her, btw), and with the founding of NOW (which I joined shortly after they opened their membership to men). It is in that context that I use the term historically.

As to the rest of your tirade, I will put that down to the fact that you have been sweltering in 100+ degree heat out there, which will fry anybody's brain, man or woman.

"Whereas, what if I were to point out that you have admitted that your penis is short, and you are unable to last more than three to five minutes during intercourse?"

Would I be able to make you happy with 3-1/2 inches and 1 to 2 minutes? Nah, I doubt it. I'd better head out to the farm and find me a nice sheep before Christine enrolls them all in one of those half-way houses for battered sheep.
