Michelle, thank you! Though it was there, somehow I never saw that "Quote" as a pulldown menu. I guess I assumed that if I wanted a quote on a stock symbol I'd entered, I'd just click on "Quote" to get it. I'd never looked at "Quote" with a pulldown-menu mindset.

Now I get it! (And I could live with it if I had to.) And if I can search ALL news items for a keyword, as the menu implies, that would be fine!

But what about a phrase? The old SI could not handle a phrase within quotes. Can the Beta SI? I guess I'll have to test it.

Test results: Stock Talk search for-

new stock ..... 9 items with both the words 'new' and 'stock' in either order, not necessarily adjacent.

"new stock" ..... same 9 items; should have been 2 items.

BryanB -- Let's get a "phrase in quotes" search capability like any standard search engine has, especially if we're searching in a world of news articles.
