Lee, OT Our great country is reflected in the fact that they allow you access to a computer. <vbg> It almost gives me some confidence that we are not going to blow ourselves up. L3; <OT> Well more Jails more taxes, it cost a lot less to educate people early on than incarcerate them latter on. The one over whealming and undeniable common denominator among the incarcerated is lack of education. And I know that for a fact, as I started doing volunteer work at TDC units back in 1972. It's just been the last 3 years that with my age I stopped making the visits, but I'v done my share and then some. We spend 100 times more money on prisons than we do schools, & to me it's a stupid twist in the way we as a society try to solve problems. I'm an old time believer of "if all you do is feed a man a fish you will have to feed him forever, Teach him how to fish and he will feed himself" I guess I'm saying there is a huge breakdown in our school system , and I tend to attach that to a "tight wad" mentality towards those kids who can't afford privet schools.
