Lee, *OT* Our great country is reflected in the fact that they allow you access to a computer. <vbg> It almost gives me some confidence that we are not going to blow ourselves up.

BTW I'm not smart, I just try to learn from my mistakes. One of the pastors at the funeral of a student killed at Columbine high school noted that 40% of the gestapo had master's degrees.

Finally, (and I'm really sorry Dennis), I love to collect lawyer jokes. Did you here about the young lady that goes up to her mom and asks if she can get pregnant from anal sex. Her mom responds: of course, how do you think lawyers are created. I accept good accountant ones as well.

L3; <OT> Well more Jails more taxes, it cost a lot less to educate
people early on than incarcerate them latter on. The one over whealming and undeniable common denominator among the
incarcerated is lack of education.

And I know that for a fact, as I started doing volunteer work
at TDC units back in 1972. It's just been the last 3 years
that with my age I stopped making the visits, but I'v done
my share and then some.

We spend 100 times more money
on prisons than we do schools, & to me it's a stupid twist in
the way we as a society try to solve problems.
I'm an old time believer of "if all you do is feed a man a fish
you will have to feed him forever, Teach him how to fish and he
will feed himself"
I guess I'm saying there is a huge breakdown in our school
system , and I tend to attach that to a "tight wad" mentality
towards those kids who can't afford privet schools.
