Yes, for me it is just a hobby and a pass time hmm, small wonder the veal example came about... Best if you go paper trading...or soap opera watching... Can you imagine if they would allow a "Sunday driver" (that is you), in the middle of the starting field of an Indy 500 race... The point is, there are many who take investing seriously. Putting money at risk, and label such activity as "pass time" is not really the brightest thing to do in my book. You would be better off playing bingo, or slot machines...I am sure that even you and all your morally upstanding SI friends, given the opportunity to make some great money, would invest in a questionable company, only to reap some great monetary rewards. Therefore, shall we assume that you equate making money with immorality ? Certainly not I... The difference is, if I make a mistake, I do not go on screaming "I have been robbed, or call the first attorney to see if I can get enough plaintiffs for a "class action suit"... the difference is, I take responsibility for my own actions. And if you tell me anything different, I will absolutely not believe you. So you pass judgement with a pre-conditioned attitude as to what anyone shall respond to you .... without further investigation of what possibly the real facts may be. By the way, I am sure you frighten me a great deal more than I frighten you. You do not frighten me, but what you advocate, [stupidity, ignorance, and complacency], should frighten anyone with a productive mind. Why ? Because the morons who practice stupidity, (for investing in bb stocks); ignorance, (because they do not want to make the effort to educate themselves and simply learn more about their own investments risks); and, complacency, (because they would rather believe the rubbish that promoters of bb fleas tells them, simply because it is more agreeable with their feeble "wishful thinking" theory of "investing", not realizing that it is mere idiotic speculation that they are really executing), cause in the end more damage to the rest of the investment community, as sooner or later these very same people cry foul when their money is gone forever. The fearful part is that it is idiots like these that clog the legal system with absurd lawsuits, clamoring to the authorities to find a culprit for their own mistakes, hence causing more regulation on top of more moronic regulation... Frankly I do not give a rat's arse if legions of idiots choose to give away their money in idiotic enterprises, the problem for me lies in the fact that due to the same lemmings, unnecessary regulation is the net result of their stupidity, not to mention the clogging of the court system due to their equally stupid legal actions. But I repeat myself. p.s. No I am not the best example of altruism, indeed I am fighting exclusively for my own best self-interest. In the interest of full disclosure, I do not hold any position in this flea AZNT, indeed, it has been my practice now to avoid these issues like the bubonic plague.
