I guess when neither candidate has come forward with positions on anything, all there is to do have a little fun. Gore is still trying to extricate himself from the Clinton morass and George W is still studying maps trying to discern Slovakia from Slovenia, and learning that people from Greece are called Greeks, not Grecians.

You're right, its real early. We could be looking at a Bradley-McCain race for all we know.

Facts are hard to come by these days. Most of us deal in opinions but, some try to pass them off as fact. But, you are right!! Too much venom and not enough meat. Issues and positions should get more concentration. however, it seem to me that most liberals deal in slurs and innuendos because they are very short on facts.

It would take a long time to list all the good things GW and the rest of his family have done for the state of Texas. I do know that our budget is in the best shape it has ever been in. Our school teachers are getting paid more. He is bringing the diverse cultures closer together with more understanding. He worked with, and was admired by a democrat lt. governor who was one of the most admired democrats in the state. Saddly, he recently died. I will miss the crusty old pol. and I am a Republican. The list could go on and on but, both parties are very relieved that we got rid of that nut, Ann Richards. TD
