T2, I go heavy into options occasionally as well and am in pretty deep right now. A majority of my holdings right now are in out of the money options in MSFT and SUN. The intrinsic value of my account is a small percentage of the market value!

Though I'm in Aug calls, I feel as you do and don't care to wait around for earnings on these. My Jan calls I expect will get in the money unless the Judge fantasizes he's Robin Hood and tries to steal the money from Gates. But I have never felt better about any options than the Jan 2002 110 LEAPS. I'm thinking the stock will hit 300 atleast by then, with each one of these babies appreciating atleast 12 times.

Godspeed to Microsoft!

The old " lunch time sell off ". Time to bring out the cash I guess. Question a friend of mine feels like after the YHOO earnings the market will sell off with it. That is if they dont announce a split and in that case the market will go up. He bases this on YHOO being the only Tech (Big Tech) releasing earnings this week.Monday back to the stocks coming out with earnings MSFT AOL INTC and so on. What do you think ? Anyone.
