PC Data Reports Top 100 Web Site Listings For June
RESTON, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 6, 1999--PC Data, the leader
in software and hardware technology tracking, today released it's
monthly listing of the top 100 Web properties and sites for June 1999.
The lists are formed using a proprietary software tool that
tracks "unique visitors" who go to either a Web site or a Web property
(defined as a network of related sites) each month. Every visitor is
counted only once, regardless of how many times the individual visits
a site. The sample currently includes 25,000 home users who are not
using the proprietary AOL browser.
PC Data will begin tracking AOL users beginning July 1999. The
total universe of non-AOL home Internet users is approximately
50,000,000.
