Hello Les,

QQQ bottomed on 10/08/98 at 54 on my P&F chart. The Bullish Support Line started at 53. The Bullish Resistance Lines (BLRL) that are then formed to the left of the bottom are what I consider the primary BLRL's. The BLRL's that form to the right of the bottom are of a secondary nature.

Interestingly, no BLRL's have yet formed to the right of the bottom.

You are right though about trendline resistance. The third BLRL to the left of the bottom that starts at 70 from back in August of 98 is waiting up at 124. It's uncanny how these BLRL's act much like BB's, especially the second and third ones. It's a rare stock or index that gets too far out over the third BLRL. But, it's on a 45 degree angle and that gives QQQ plenty of room to run with ordinary pullbacks and trends. (That is, if it wants to run<g>. Let's see -- who was it that suggested a short.)

Your other comments are interesting and appreciated.

Take care,

Eric
