I think CARI is worth following, as a HLTH competitor.

I really cannot think of any others worth following, although I would be happy to be corrected by somebody smarter than me on this. I am aware of some related companies, PILL, SCNI, MDTK, SBTK, but it is hard to get serious about them. PILL is probably the next best, and its market cap is less than $300M.

Ranking HLTH's competitors

1) HLTH/WEebMD: $10B market cap. Ranked first because of its strong corporate alliances and ownership (KPCB AND MSFT in same company?)
2) CARI: Formidable. $4B market cap. In-depth info at this link...
e-analytics.com
3) PILL: $300M market cap. Good software, healthy customer base.
4) SCNI: $65M market cap. May expand more to become a fully-functional competitor, at least from a technical standpoint.
5) CLAI: $45M market cap. Lots of EMR companies theoretically have the functionality to compete with HLTH. But only one company will ultimately set the standards for medical transactions on the internet. Here is a story about CLAI's ambitions.

6) SBTK: $300M cap is not focused on medical transactions portals, so I put them last.
