Updates on the company: Well, obviously Ivanhoe Mines is either the best kept secret of investing or people simply don't care to post on this forum. The company is on its way to having 58 million pounds of copper production at the S&K mine for CY 1999 at a cash cost of $0.27 per pound. Very impressive indeed. Exploration is going well in Indonesia (they are not affected in the least by the turmoil in East Timor), and they are expecting to put out a major announcement on two of the properties shortly after the new Indonesian president is inaugurated. Friedland has made some shrewd business moves over the last six months, and the company should be poised to do very well when commodity prices really begin their new bull run.
