My laptop research shows the DELL Latitude to be the best value in 15in screen laptops. My problem is that its not available with an LS-120 drive which is a feature I must have. LS-120's are a standard feature on high end Gateways, but they cost almost $400 more. I may end up with a Latitude and a USB port LS-120. I've also been looking at a local brand (Prostar) which offers a 15in screen and a full 101 key keyboard. A numeric keypad is a very useful feature in my line of work. (CAD/CAM programming)
