Hi Ish,

Back from LA and my "3 hour tour". We got a late start on the day since they closed down the 405 for some mental patient the police shot and by the time we got on the water there were lot's of boats (4th of July didn't help either). First hour was a wipe out, but the captain kept moving and scouting fish. We finally settled on a kelp bed and started catching calico bass. (I got the big one!heheheheh) We quit counting the number, but suffice to say, my son now has a freezer full of fish.

All in all, it was a very good day on the water, very nice craft we were on, great crew, very good accomodations, food, drinks, etc....

Just barely got a bit seasick, mostly on the way back in (diesel fuel no doubt). We plan to take a full day next time and go for the Albacore. I looked at some of the photos of previous charters, and these guys look like they know where and how to get 'em.

Looking forward to next time!
