MAIL + STMP the future?...Can Pitney Bowes Stamp Out Net Rivals? (Looks like you have the answer to that). Little ones looking good from last week: MAIL (+17%), MESG,LCAV.. The next earnings play #4 for the 9th which was just waiting to be picked up was a no-brainer. STMP, another one from The Industry Standard Magazine... Can Pitney Bowes Stamp Out Net Rivals? (MAIL discovered in this magazine as well)... The idea of electronic postage makes business sense: Rather than license a postage meter or buy stamps from the post office, you can download stamps online and print them from a PC. THE POTENTIAL IS HUGE. The U.S. postage market, including package delivery services like FedEx, is worth $60 billion. Worldwide its $150 billion market.

In the U.S. alone, there are 100 million businesses online, about 1 million of which use postage metres. Initially, the electronic stamp companies plan to target the small and home-office markets, which typically don't do enough volume to make a postage meter worthwhile. But, in the long run, e-stamp companies will also target larger customers, taking on the postage-meter companies. And that's what's tot Pitney Bowes all riled up....

Stamp ACTS:
E- Stamp, NeoPost, Stamps.com.. The internet posage service ill let customers download free software, open an account and start printing postage the same day!..
E- Stamp. Will enable customers to download postage off the web and print it on home printers...
