Kind of an un-Claude like response .... given the volume traded, I doubt much shorting is occurring right now ... some profit taking on a so-so news release (this is still a sell on the news market, after all). Look for evidence of real shorting when the price gets back up into the moving averages.

Besides, if MAN does have the goods, then you'd want to hope for tons of shorts .... the covering that ensues will drive it up quicker than your screen can refresh. :o)

<The shorts will get killed on the next release if we get those grades up>

This market reaction is exactly what I was talking about in a previous post yesterday. Why the negative reaction? Speculators expect so much that even good news is not enough. Too bad. I have seen this in many non-mining stocks too. My long position is still intact and I am happy with the news, I would have liked 2% cu but I am not complaining and the gold in TG-1 is just about what I wanted. I would have been happpy with 1g/t...we are pretty close to that. Nothing has changed.

Hi Claude and everybody else . I HAVE A QUESTION!

How come that a stock (like MAN last night) can close at a price and then next morning at a lower price? In other words, how come that Man closed at 8.50 last night and opened at 6.75 after being halted?
I am asking because my broker sold a number of my shares after1 minute MAN started trading. Is this normal or was I f..ked?

THANKS
CIAO AND CHEERS ANNA

Why is the grade lower distal to the vent? Why are you predicting higher grades in the thicker parts of the deposit? What geological precedent is there for this?
