Hello All. Good to have a few minutes to catch up (or is it catsup?) on my long lost cyber pals' goings on. Hope y'all are doing well--I'm just trying to do. Lessee here: • Close friend and his wife moved into my house (temporarily) while they look for a new home. • Took a consultation (creative direction/copy writing) gig with an internet based financial services company. Nice retainer. Tons of work. Impossible deadlines. • Cut down a dead, 100 year old oak that was threatening to fall onto my house. I could write a book about the cat that did the cutting. • Hosted a paella party for a bunch of friends on Saturday. (One guest will never forget my margaritas) • Started a new fitness/diet program that I'm actually sticking with-- and seeing results. • Karma Music is very busy. Just completed a set of spots for Raymond James & Associates. I think they're running on CNBC. •My new studio (soon to begin renovation) was broken into twice. The second time, the police caught the guy. Court dates set, reset, finally happened, and now we're on to the next level (Superior Court?). • In the span of one week my friend (from item 1): had emergency gall bladder surgery, had to put his 11 year old cat to sleep, THEN, I had to administer the Heimlich maneuver to dislodge a coupla Raisin Bran flakes he was choking on. That was scary: he was going limp in my arms as I was trying to save him. • Vacillating between love starved melancholy and joy at my single freedom. Got to run. Chew well, Rick
