Well, if I had the vast resources of Little Anthony, and had I been innocent of the things that he's been accused of, I sure as hell would have contested them. Think of all the money he's made shorting these "stinky" stocks--isn't his reputation worth something?

There's one resource Anthony has no more of than any of the rest of us and that is called time. Think of all the money he wouldn't have had time to make shorting stinky stocks if he were that obsessive about every small blot on his rep. I wonder if those Kosovar refugees wish Anthony had stayed focused on the lawsuit rather than get them out of the war zone.

Gaining the esteem of you, a person predisposed to distrust him anyway, probably doesn't even register on his list of priorities.

I cant stand by how much resources he has and that makes absolutely no difference. Smart way to do it is to cut your losses while they are small. Settling the charges was the most cost effective thing to do. I know it. I made the mistake of proving my innocence whereas I could have just pay a small amount (comparing to what it cost later through litigation etc. plus years out of my life to fight it. At the end the lawyers win regardless. So get a life
