Does he keep trying to throw out the things that matter to you?
Well, of course not! He knows better!
Besides, all my things are tasteful and important.

Okay. I give up. Is this a trick question?

One only does this in the event that one is intending to precipitate six months of counseling at a bare minimum. And I refuse to believe that there is a male on the good planet Earth that would have any interest whatsoever in doing this.

You must keep in mind that it is all a sort of tradeoff, a kind of game in a way...women are raised with an innate understanding that, next to the expectation of something reasonably approximating monogamy, it is perhaps foremost among their marital privileges to slowly divest a man of his prior excess baggage. It is along the lines of a quest, without which life loses a certain luster.

And our responsibility, as men, is to engage in the most byzantine forms of Ghandiesque passive resistance, in order to provide our distaff companions with years of teeth-gnashing, hair tearing frustration. And, finally, to magnanimously allow them that special moment of eye-glistening triumph as the truck pulls away with the moth-eaten avocado couch and glass coffee table.

Trust me on this Chris.
