This is one of those cases which fascinate and puzzle me. There was a great post on the BDE thread outlining all the very public deals and alliances which BDE has going for it this summer and fall. But the majority of investors are selling BDE from a low price to begin with. So - is the majority so very, very wrong despite full information and disclosure, or are the assumptions on the long side mistaken or exaggerated. I don't know for sure so I didn't short a ton. But so far, BDE is tanking on a great up day for Net stocks. Not going to fight the tape. Just a misunderstanding? I doubt it. BDE should be worth a lot more if the Street believed all these deals were worth something.
