Tom, CUST smells really like an OTC BB or Pink Sheet stock. After I read Cook's statement for tomorrow conference call, I can't wait to short sell more shares.

Some of my favorite quotes from the ZDNET article:

Still, CustomTracks may face an uphill battle
achieving the kind of widespread usage that
Cook envisions. While users may say they want
secure communications online, they are less
likely to change daily habits that can make that
security a reality, says Seamus McAteer, analyst
at research firm Jupiter Communications.

"Security can facilitate huge markets, but the
market for security itself is limited," McAteer says.
"I don't think e-mail security is top of mind for the
bulk of e-mail customers out there."

The analysts are starting to see how weak this business model really is.

Wow.. they even put a positive spin on "digital signature recovery", while calling raw encryption software worthless. I don't know, but isn't knowing that one's so called "private encrypted" messages can be decoded against the whole encryption idea??

-----
"At the time a digital signature is created ? ZixMail offers the user an opportunity
to create an encrypted signature recovery file that will be stored at the worldwide
signature server - but that we are unable to open or to read."
Ok... sure(unless asked too I'm betting)

This recovery file is encrypted using a novel method which will allow the
recovery of encryption keys and the establishment of a new signature phrase
without compromising the security of the keys themselves.
Yeah, ok. Anything that can be done/undone with a 'novel" method is not secure.

Tom...

>>Cook fully expects to have between 35 million and 50 million registered users for the ZixMail service within its first 12 months of operation.<<

I have been away for the past 10 days and I am just getting caught up. I shorted more CUST at 49 before I left and I simply forgot about the stock market. Well almost, I did call my broker once but I never felt any concern over CUST although it may take a few months.

It is fun going over 10 days of posts on this stock. Sure hard to predict short term but IMO, it is a no-brainer for the long haul.

The comment from Cook above, sounds to me that he is a little like our old friend Mr. King from ZITL fame. That is fine with me!

Good luck
