To the A@P board: This reply is for ekn, who does your board no favor by bringing me back here. I cannot let him misrepresent me with impunity. But I assure you that I do not intend to stay. You have read my arguments. I have read yours. I remain prepared to leave the issues as we joined them. For the record, ekn has a bad history in which you have no complicity. Seeing him as a troubled person, I tried on more than one occasion -- genuinely and privately -- to be conciliatory toward him, on the chance that he just needed a little understanding. He rejected those olive branches in rude and dishonest ways. I have held his identity as confidential. He has published my identity (thinking that it would be very hurtful to me). He also has told premeditated lies about me. He has even accused me of the crime of impersonating myself. You get the picture. To ekn: I am not sure that your diatribe in post #40358 is meant for me. I have not done anything to justify this accusation: "You keep telling how the 'big' news is going to slam everyone. BIG NEWS next week guys, forget July 4 wait till you see these fireworks." You should admit that I have not said those things. But you have amply demonstrated your inability to retract even your most unjust ravings. As far as your being Ronnie Lott and my not being Jerry Rice, perhaps you should go back and re-read our exchange in posts #40083 and #40085. Better yet, re-read the various exchanges in which I have cleaned your clock (regardless of which alias you chose to use). You should button your chinstrap, rook. You're always getting hurt. Please do not bother with the tough-talking, football-jock intimidation you have used in the past. You know what I mean: your veiled threats to others on Raging Bull, in which you tell them how they would cower if they ever met you in the flesh. I would be delighted at the opportunity to make your acquaintance personally.
