its really irritating to scroll all the way down to click on the 'view subjectmarks' instead of having it on the top of the page as well.

Unless you get rid of it with customization, it is at the top of the page in the toolbar (the links in the white bar under "Silicon Investor").

With the new site you can customize the toolbar at the top of the page and put whatever you want in it - including SubjectMarks.
