We went off for a weekend on the Deschutes River, and stayed in a room with cable, and I woke up around ten thirty and watched TV in bed, amongst the spectacular natural scenery what's sposed to be outside, till eleven thirty PM. Thirteen hours I think.

It was The History Channel, and an art one, and a science one. I don't have it at home, for obvious reasons. Even Dash has it, and we had to stop taping sheetrock to watch Big Stuff all the time. We critiqued the World's Biggest Oil Drilling Platform, frinstance. We're good. You're safe with the movies though, they all SUCK.

Cable with anything here costs about 42 a month; 500.00 American Dollars a year; so eff em. FM.

Soap operas are downright frightening and gross. Especially, the "women." Hell; imho. And Hell number 7 is those court tv freak shows.

My set is off right now, and I feel strangely protected. Locked up or out.

I bet one day the gov passes a law making it illegal to turn off the set.
