This company has dropped almost 99% of its market cap in the last three years. In mid 96 it was trading at about 15. Now its trading at about 3/16. During that time frame MSFT increased 500%, the Dow increased about about 250%.

Before I bought any KNIC, I'd ask myself what has changed that will result in this company outperforming any of the thousands of stocks it has lagged in the last few years. Check out posts from around Aug. of 1997. The price of KNIC was about 10, and 13 was predicted as being around the corner. What happened? and why won't this company continue down?

That's my take on it.

FWIW, I am neither long nor short. I started following it sometime ago because the pure energy patents seemed valuable, but I held off waiting for evidence of a change in direction. To date, it seems nothing has changed since this stock started its long slide.
