There's no question that women suffer much more from domestic violence than men. I was just surprised that the incidence of male victims was as high as it was. I knew there was some, but the number did surprise me.

As to why DV is far lower as a percent of crimes suffered for men than women, far more males are in the drug trade, where a lot of violent crime occurs, far more males are in prison, where a lot of violence occurs, and more are in high-risk jobs such as night clerks in convenience stores and liquor stores. Society still puts more men in high risk jobs than women.

"Women are 84% of those seeking hospital treatment for an intentional injury caused by an intimate assailant."

It really makes you wonder what those women did to piss off those men so badly.

I have never hit a woman in my entire life and can't even imagine what a woman would have to say or do to make me hit her.

If you can't get along with the old hag, divorce her, don't deck her.
