PTEK news.. Another wanabe WITC, I am surprised no one is intrested. Just like no one seemed intrested in CYBS, WITC or KOOP or EDGR and pretty much no intrest in GOTO until they all had run up 50%. Oh well its good to talk to myself and put it in print. Can always look back and go hey that was a really stupid thing to do buying it. NPLS is really worth watching! Either its a total dud or its the next JNPR after Engage. talked to investor relations today..... by: stockup2win (40/M/west georgia) 14740 of 14744 bob said they had signed up some new major customers,as well as firming up old ones also said there was a major internet deal that should be anounced soon when asked how soon he said it could be as early as tomorrow or as late as next week they have to wait until the internet company had them up on their site he said there would be announcements sooner rather than later i also asked him if ptek was considering spinning off some of ptekventures as a tracking stock in order to unlock shareholder value bob responded by saying that they have recruited an investment banker to help them determine the best way to unlock share holder value,and that was just one of the things that he felt would be looked at he also stated that they had analyst in other sectors that would recognize ptek's true value,but that as long as they remained in the telecom svcs sector it was hard for those analyst to determine the value of ptek sounds like they are looking to move to the internet sector when i asked about earnings bob said no announcment meant no bad news he also said there would be a loss due to accounting ebitda would show different bob also said if a company was to come in a tad over or under expectations,it would be close enough not to make much difference i took that as not to expect much of a surprise good or bad at earnings time as for bigbucks4me1 posting get rich if you hold until recently she only had 1 post to her name #1939 stated that ptek would hit ten soon 1 week later it was up to 10 from about 6 1/2 coincidence????? maybe not but yitz33 sounds like he has valid info hope this helps stockup
