What would be the benefit of SI doing it automatically for all links? And wouldn't we all quickly find ourselves with a whole bunch of open windows?

I agree. Even though I usually open links in a new browser window, I wouldn't want that to happen automatically. The problem with coding it in as the default is that there would be no way to override that setting and open the link in the same window.

It's not much trouble to hit the right mouse button on a link rather than the left. What would be the benefit of SI doing it automatically for all links? And wouldn't we all quickly find ourselves with a whole bunch of open windows?

Probably because I didn't know that right clicking on a link opened a new window. I used to do <File><New><Navigator Window> and the cut and paste the link. I feel so stupid on the one hand not to have known and happy on the other to now know this time saver.

I wonder how many other great tricks are out there waiting to be learned. Makes you want to go curl up with a manual . . .

Anyway, thanks for the tip.

John

Can anyone tell me where to find the search "this thread only" feature? I've looked and looked...
