Talk about one way to heat up a thread.....that would do it!!

As a matter of fact that subject could warrant a thread of it's own.

Definition of a "true feminist": there ain't no such thing as a "true" feminist. There are all kinds of feminists. Take your pick.

Sorry, no can do. I don't have a litmus test for feminists. I said, and say, that anyone who thinks that feminism began in our lifetimes was ignorant of feminism. You could have known that by looking at the Susan B. Anthony dollar in your pocket, but you didn't. I admire, more than any other woman, Margaret Sanger. But that's just me.

Any woman who tries to keep her nose above the river of shit that's thrown at her counts in my book.

I am not one so I have no idea. I would guess every feminist has something a bit different to say about feminism- but I suppose if you really want your answer you can go read some feminist books- or, since you were part of the movement, maybe you already have. In which case you probably have a better idea of what a "true feminist" is than I do.
