Is Block a creativity thing? Or performance anxiety? Or personality disorder?

Oh dear ~ or the secret desire to do something else?

I like the sounds of your classics professor. <g> It is very important to like our characters, unless they're an unlikable character, but then we kind of have put up with them during their scenes. I mean why would we want to listen for hours on end and tire our fingers out for a character we didn't like? They'd be blahblahing along like they're sooo interesting and we'd be like, "So? I DON'T CARE WHAT YOU DID!"

This is what I read about writer's block. Write. Just write. Don't edit. You can edit later on, after you have it all written. Sounds good to me.<eom>
