Clement, I basically don't know what to say to you as I certainly respect you to the utmost standard of integrity and intellect. Events such as these do have after effects whether they last forever or are just a phase is left to the individual. However I do want to make one thing extremely clear to you. No where in my post to which you respond was there any mention about associating this with an individuals nationality. I think you read more into it than is there. However if you do take offense then do not blame me, it has not been my actions that have created this whole fiasco. I repost the severly dissected statement again: "Now days when I am researching a stock just the statement that it is a Canadian company or that a company is making an alliance with a Canadian company sends cautionary warnings. I pretty much dismiss the company period." Presently I do automatically discount the stock as soon as I see that it is from Canada. One more item which semi irritates me is that you took a section and not the whole post. Here is the next section of the post that was not expounded on: "Not saying all Canadian businesses are crap but TT has definetly left me with a very big aversion to investing in that country." Clement I really see no basis for your manner of response to me as I think it was more than clear as to my current position, what I was attempting to say, and my present state of mind/being/why I presently discount Canadian stocks. There was no slander towards any individuals nationality etc. Hope any differences of opinion aside someday perhaps I could buy you a beer and vice versa.
