MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 7, 1999--Pinnacle Systems Inc. (Nasdaq:PCLE) today announced that it is now shipping both DC1000 and DVD1000, its next generation digital media creation and delivery solutions.
DC1000 is a dual stream digital video and audio editing solution featuring MPEG-2 technology. DC1000 delivers the ability for video and digital media producers to edit and produce high quality video tapes, produce streaming video for the Internet, and the breakthrough ability to author CD-ROM videos with fully interactive menus.
DVD1000 adds the capability to author fully featured DVD titles, one of the fastest growing delivery mediums for video.

Availability
Both products are now available, are compatible with Windows NT based PCs and certified by Adobe Systems Inc. for Adobe Premiere. Pinnacle Systems also offers a DV (IEEE 1394) I/O module for direct DV to MPEG-2 connectivity as an upgrade for the DVD1000 and DC1000. DC1000 customers can also upgrade to the features of the DVD1000.
