Looks like Merk could Munch some new science: July 9 (Bloomberg)- the resignation of two key scientists over the past few months at Merck & Co. the no 1 U.S. drugmaker, may have started a so called brain-drain where the top employees leave, stifling creativity, the Star Ledger of Newark, N.J., reported. The first to leave was cancer researcher Dr. Allen Oliff, for DuPont Pharma. Dr C. Thomas Caskey, a senior vp and well-known genetics scientist, is about to return to Texas for personal reasons--snip- DAK
