James,

<< I am just going to call a spade a spade and tell you that it is cruel to call another Christian the names that Emile has had to endure from others on this thread. >>

How can you say that? Emile certainly doesn't refrain from calling others names, he brings it on himself. also, I didn't call him names, I said he bears a certain responsibility for his rhetoric.

I ge the feeling that you are not taking issue about emile and his getting picked on. I think in some misguided way, you are upset that jews are getting persecuted for their religious beliefs, that it is a "cross" that only Christians should bear, as if it gives some meaning to people's spirituality.

I remember the sense of pride that people took away from the unfortunate girl at columbine who reitierated her beliefs in christ before being shot for her views. the sense that some people felt that it verified their own beliefs somehow.

does it verify the Jewish religion that one of the boys tht was shot by this man was quoted in the paper today that the incident has made his beliefs in judiasim even stronger? Of course not. It is personal statment of his own beliefs and has no bearing on anything else. same for that unfortunate girl at columbine.

<<tell you that it is cruel to call another Christian the names >>

Isn't it just as wrong to call anyone names? do you believe that it is more wrong to call a Christian names?

Mark
