STERLING, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 15, 1999-- Network Access Solutions (Nasdaq: NASC - news) today
announced that a group of investors that include SBC Communications, Inc. (NYSE: SBC - news) and Telefonos de Mexico
(NYSE: TMX - news), exercised their options to purchase a combined 996,057 shares of NAS Common Stock at the initial
public offering price of $12.00 per share (less the underwriter's spread). Their combined purchases netted the Company
approximately $11.1 million. As part of NAS' recently completed initial public offering, 537,634 of the shares were purchased
by SBC Communications, Inc. and 358,423 of the shares were purchased by Telefonos de Mexico.
