Thoughts on AMZN price range?...

I enjoy reading the messages here, although I find I don't have time to keep up with all of the messages. What are some of the thoughts on the price range for AMZN in the next couple of weeks? I realize that the earnings from Yahoo will probably influence other Internet stocks.
I own a small position in AMZN. I am a long time AMZN customer, and I think their site is great. Someone mentioned in one of the messages that the AMZN customer has limited time, and enjoys the ease of shopping and ordering a book/CD/ or other products and that price isn't necessarily an issue. I would agree with that comment. I am probably typical of most of their customers....with too many commitments, and not enough time.
I held a large position in AMZN at one time, but the ups/downs and uncertainty of the stock price was hard to take!
Thanks for your thoughts!

>>they recently bought Liquid Audio.

Are you sure about this? I thought they had options for a stake. I don't remember how much (bigger than EMI's, smaller than INTC, the same as Vulcan?) Anyway, I used to hate Liquid Audio, but they have improved the player a LOT in the last year. I gather they are going to succumb to the inevitable and put out a version of the player which allows mp3 playbacks...

If the Liquid Audio IPO performs well, it may focus more attention on AMZN's venture investments, which, imo, have been pretty shrewd.

You know, one interesting thing about Amazon's free music downloads (which are good,
and very good quality) is that they want people to download in Liquid Audio format --
competition to .mp3 and Real Audio formats. The problem they're likely seeing (I'd bet)
is that people don't want to bother with yet another audio player. Fortunately they
typically provide .mp3 format as well, so people download that version instead. I'm
afraid they won't be happy with the stats as they compile them; they recently bought
Liquid Audio.

Randy,

I am not checked recently but there was not a Liquid Audio Player for the Mac. Not a big deal to most but it is to me and the Mac is gaining market share.
