My brother-in-law who is my broker called me last night and once again tried to convince me to take some off of the table Yeah and then buy something that doesn't go up quite so much! Geez, there is always the sell half method.....guaranteed to piss you off whether it goes up or down.
I know how you feel, I've been here many times with stocks that have gone up quite a bit. If you sell today you have made money and now it is realized, you are in cash. But how are you going to react if we get some news and the stock breaks through the 52 week high and runs? Are you going to be calm and wait for it to retreat to get back in? Or are you going to chase it higher and be the one person who pays the new 52 week high (cursing your brother-in-law the whole time)? I do know that there are very few stocks that gave the same return that GNET gave last year.....and I have faith that there are very few stocks that will give the same return over the next three years. I'm going to hold....I know I'll regret it at some point if the stock retreats (correction here, WHEN the stock retreats), but I also know what kind of investor I am and I've always done better by holding then trying to time the tops and bottoms.

Is your brother-in-law a trader or an investor?
