Phone.com Signs Reseller Agreement With CTC

CTC Will Resell Phone.com's UP.Link Server Suite Platform to Japanese Wireless Network Operators

REDWOOD CITY, Calif., July 7 /PRNewswire/ -- Phone.com, Inc. (Nasdaq: PHCM - news) today announced it has signed an agreement with Itochu Techno-Science Corporation (CTC) to resell the Phone.com(TM) UP.Link(TM) Server software and applications to Japanese wireless network operators. Phone.com's UP.Link Server Suite and UP.SDK software development kit, is an open and robust system that enables interactive Internet information services and telephony applications on wireless handsets running the UP.Browser(TM) microbrowser. Under the terms of the agreement, CTC will provide network operators with localized installation, developer training, marketing, sales and technical support for the UP.Link Server wireless Internet platform.
