VIA Technologies, National Semiconductor Announce Chipset Agreement
Industry Leaders Cooperate on Chipset Business

SANTA CLARA, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 7, 1999--VIA Technologies and National Semiconductor Corp. today jointly announced a strategic agreement in which National will serve as the manufacturing foundry for VIA's chipsets in Pentium II-type processor based computers. This alliance is for VIA to continue to develop and market VIA's chipset which offers the advantages of a 133 Megahertz front-side bus, PC133 SDRAM, and AGP4X compatibility. National will be manufacturing the chipset for sale and distribution by VIA Technologies.

Thanks, Rocky. Your observation convinced me to buy more at a little over 88 and it's already paying off.
