I don't think you can make any interpretations about the lockup period from what we've seen here. Just because shares are issued and outstanding does not mean that they are all freely tradeable (as I understand it).

Of course you can read between the lines in what I just wrote and see that I'm not exactly denying your suggestion that they do seem to be a bit fast and loose with the share certificate embossing machine.

When I first started following this company, I checked their web site four or five times over a two week or so period. I noticed at least three increases in what their web site claimed as the number of shares issued and outstanding. The first time I checked it was just under 30 million (29-something), then there were two other figures just over 30. That sort of growth rate in the number of shares outstanding did not discourage me from shorting the stock.
