James, There are following clues in the open about Q4 results:

1. CFO's "very comfortable" statement
2. IDC's report of PC shipment up 21%
3. MSFT/Intel announcement of NT workstation growth of 40+%
4. Softie's statement that 15 million Office2000 were sold as of
early June
5. Prior comments that MSN may be profitable.

So despite short term price inaction, one fine day there could be
moves of +5 to +8 on strong volume.
