PMSW: You left out the best example of all LE at ORCL. The company almost lost it by trying to "put MSFT out of business" with their client thingy. They have now refocused and are doing much better. Your point is an excellent one. They would all do well to learn the MSFT tactic of embrace and absorb. I call it the jelly fish method. JFD

Agreed...

Sun & MSFT should cooperate, on common points..

Sun did stumble in a great business. I do not care, as I have made a bit of money on that

Take care
Jean

P.S. Sun will probably not die (at the hands of MSFT) and will own it's own "sweet spot". MSFT is still going to be the dominant Killer company IMO. Sun will just not be roadkill for it, as they have their niche... Sun better not go into Office Apps or too much in software though (at least on windows) or they will be smothered
