I agree, relief rally post yhoo earnings. This market is trying to outsmart itself with the premature sell-off in yhoo, which is spreading to the other nets. The basis of this activity is multifactorial including the usual suspects fear, self-preservation, margin calls, etc. I see two simplified scenarios: disappointing earnings resulting in further decline in yhoo and possibly sector, only to be rescued again at lower valuations and brought back to date; or welcomed earnings which result in relief rally for yhoo and sector. If this holds true, there is more benefit to hold current positions and to add during declines, than to sell preemptively where capital gains and transaction fees eat profit, and where there is no guarantee that a perfect bottom or perfect reentry can be executed. How will GNET react? I dont know for sure, although GNET has shown divergent movements in past. Long on GNET, and accumulating.
