Sven is "OUT"> Company statement by: ToHellWithCDMA (32/M) 8898 of 8899 DJ Ericsson CEO Nilsson Resigns Effective Immediately TOCKHOLM (Dow Jones)--Swedish telecommunications company Telefon AB LM Ericsson (ERICY) announced Wednesday that Chief Executive Officer and President Sven-Christer Nilsson has resigned from both positions, effective immediately. Nilsson will be replaced as president by Kurt Hellstroem, currently executive vice president Asia Pacific, while the board has asked Ericsson's Chairman Lars Ramqvist to take on the job as CEO in addition to his chairmanship. Ramqvist was CEO of Ericsson until March last year, when he resigned and Nilsson took over. The board said the measures are "intended to improve profitability and long-term growth in the company."
